Since 1991 Carolyn has been working with, supporting and advocating for people with a disability.
Carolyn worked at the Public Trustee for nearly 15 years. During that time she was primarily a financial administrator for people with a decision making impairment. She then changed departments and was employed as a Supports Facilitator, before moving positions to Contract Manager for the Department of Communities, Disabilities. This role involved managing the contracts for funding between the Department and the non-government sector. Since leaving the department, Carolyn established Time Made and continues to support people with a disability via NDIS Capacity Building services, including Support Coordination. She is the current incumbent Chair on the Board of a larger not for profit organisation in Toowoomba.
Carolyn works closely with her clients to help them find solutions to overcome their individual barriers. She works with a wide variety of people, including those who are living with intellectual impairment, psycho-social disability, acquired brain injury and physical disability, or a combination of these.
